Holiday INSP! is a summer community for young adults who need a place that offers a safe environment filled with free and fun activities throughout the summer holidays. This can look different for everyone.
Holiday INSPiration is for (but not limited to):
Youth with limited or under-resourced access to opportunities
Young adults from underserved communities
Those who may experience financial or social barriers

WHAT IS HOLIDAY INSPiration?

During the summer holidays, we open the doors to Holiday INSP! in Roskilde's coolest cultural center, which serves as a gathering point for many strong communities.
Holiday INSP! is a unique summer community where young adults meet, create, build memories, and experience summer vacation together. We have INSP! to ourselves, and the atmosphere is informal, safe, and full of life.
Our goal with Holiday INSP! is to create a framework that enables you to become part of a strong community through shared experiences with others.
FREE EXCURSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
During Holiday INSP! there are many excursions and activities, all of which are free (including transportation if applicable). These provide participants the opportunity to find new relationships and discover themselves through shared experiences.
You decide what you want to participate in. You are also welcome to come and just hang out. There is always room for you with us.
PROGRAM
This year's theme is Create Together - Experience Together. The program is packed with fun activities (both big and small), and the events are curated by young people for young people.
Day of the week: Monday
Theme: Monday Dreams
Monday Dreams is a flexible day where you can come up with your own ideas and dreams and help decide what we will do.
Monday is also a day with plenty of time to quietly enjoy the company of others in the house.
Day of the week: Tuesday
Theme: Tuesday's Tour de Roskilde
On Tuesday, we meet at INSP!. We will then go on a short excursion in Roskilde or the surrounding areas. We will walk, cycle, use public transport, or take taxis. Lunch is provided and brought on the trip.
Day of the week: Thursday
Theme: Thursday excursions
Every Thursday, we go on a longer trip outside Roskilde. We always meet at INSP! and leave from there.
We support and help each other along the way, but it is important that you can manage on your own during the trip. For each trip, an overview and checklist will be made, which you can find on our Facebook. You are always welcome to go home early or stay longer.
PARTICIPATE
At INSP! There is always someone willing to give you a warm welcome. Our hosts and other participants in the house are ready to welcome you into a spacious community.
At INSP! we work together to create a healthy, comfortable, and safe atmosphere where we look after each other.
Here you can be yourself without pressure or expectations, and there is no right or wrong way to participate. We believe that communities are strongest when there is room for diversity.
SOCIAL HOSTS
At Holiday INSP!, a social host is always present.
Social hosts are here to help you feel welcome and included in the community.
You are always welcome to reach out to the social host if you have any questions, need a chat, or just someone to hang out with. Our social hosts take care of all the practicalities, keeping an eye on things at all times, whether we are at INSP! or on a trip.
HOLIDAY INSP! is supported by the Danish Labor Market Holiday Fund and Roskilde Municipality.
